We honor our workers on Labor Day and Everyday!

In 1894 U.S. President Grover Cleveland proposed a Federal Holiday to honor and commemorate U.S. workers. This was time of explosive growth in our country and many citizens worked to build the country, in so many various trades.

We've come a long way since 1894. One thing is for sure, U.S. manufacturing still of paramount importance. At PTR Baler & Compactor, we've always made all of our equipment - vertical balers, stationary compactors and self-contained compactors right here in the U.S.A. We're proud to employee skilled welders, engineers and painters to get the job done.

We're also very focused on the culture here at PTR. We've created an environment to keep workers happy, healthy and engaged. From our stellar benefits package to continuing education courses. We truly appreciate our team.  Everyone has a special skill set that contributes to our success ... and our customers' success too! Many of our team members have worked here for many years - a testament to our culture.

Our culture has been refined over the years. As our company grew and evolved, we took care to learn from everything we were doing. Always improving. Always innovating. Always leveling up when it comes to safety.

We are proud to be an American manufacturer located in Philadelphia. We've been here for generations and are proud to call Philadelphia home. We're involved in the local community and many of our employees live in Philadelphia and the tri-state area.
