Complete 24 Hour 365 Day Backroom Service:

The value of good service is very hard to measure. Quick response time, well trained competent service techs, well-stocked trucks eliminating the requirement of second trips are all components of good service. At PTR, we are continuously striving to improve the 24-hour/seven days a week service that we perform on all makes of balers & compactors.

Time and Material Agreement:

Scope of work - PTR will provide Baler and Compactor repairs to all designated locations.

Hours of Service:

PTR provides 24-hour service, 7 days a week including holidays. Most calls are handles within an 8-hour period. However all calls are responded to within a 24-hour period. Most calls placed before 11am are handled that same day, calls that are placed after 11am that need to be c ompleted that same day, holidays and weekends will need to have overtime authorized by the Maintenance Manager.


 

Option 1 - Performing the PM while at location on a standard service call:
Perform a compactor & baler PM service, with any service call that is received where the location involved has not had a compactor and baler PM done within the last calendar year from the call date, thereby saving on trip charges. This Preventive Maintenance portion of the service call would be provided for all locations in the continental United States, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska. Subsequently, stores who have not had any service calls issued by the end of the same year, would have an separate work order generated to ensure that they too would have a documented PM on file as well.

Option 2- Performing the PM as a separate dispatched call:
Dispatch service tech to the specified location specifically to perform a PM inspection on the baler and compactor(s) on site to ensure ANSI compliance. This Preventive Maintenance service would be provided for all locations in the continental United States, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska.

Repair rates:
Any required repairs found while performing the PM will be performed at the current labor rate agreement in force on the service date.
