Advanced Safety Features
A product safety checklist and safety video is sent with every baler and compactor
that ships from our plant to educate the operators of your new equipment. This
video also allows our customers to fulfill their educational obligations to
their employees as mandated by the ANSI Z245.5-1997 Safety Standard.
PTR Baler and Compactor Company goes the extra mile by providing
standard safety features such as our concealed proximity switch
(safety switch), beyond those normally offered in our industry.
UL Approval
PTR Baler and Compactor Company balers & compactors has TOTAL U.L. approval
on select vertical balers and waste compactors. Each and every component and
structural piece on our products has been analyzed by Underwriters Laboratories
and their safety engineers. Our U.L. status is monitored every quarter with
spot inspections to verify that all methods approved by U.L. are being strictly
enforced within our manufacturing plant.
High Level of Craftsmanship
All welders employed by PTR Baler and Compactor Company are certified by the
American Welding Society. All our equipment is manufactured in Jigs and Fixtures
and all our welds reach maximum penetration utilizing 92,000 psi tensile
strength wire.
Thorough Inspection Process
Every unit of equipment that ships from PTR Baler and Compactor Company's plant
is thoroughly inspected at three separate stages; 1. By the mechanic on the
compactor or baler production line 2.by the baler or compactor line supervisor
3. By our dedicated Quality Assurance Manager who is personally accountable
for overseeing that every last detail of your equipment has been properly
manufactured.
Each and every self contained is also water tested
and checked for leaks before it leaves our facility.

great deal of time in putting together service schools that utilize
hands on training and in the field trouble shooting. Our Sales
school educates Haulers & Distributors on correctly sizing
products, equipment applications and understanding our complete
product line.

Turn-key programs are available. PTR works closely with many national
accounts to set up and install complete compaction and baling systems.
Working with our extensive network of authorized distributors
we can handle all aspects of installation; including pouring your
pad, running your electrical and installing your security door.
